Describe the artists use of line (is it expressive, directional or does it inclued contour lines?)
This picture displays use of dots to make the painting create distance. It is very expressive and makes me think of a small garden at an old, little, white house. The lines are pretty much all different diarections which makes the work look increadible and abstact. This particular painting does not have very many contour lines.
Look at the shapes. Are they organic, overlaping or interlocking?
The shapes in this picture are all very organic as it has many beautiful flowers and plants. To create this unique and fantastic look, Sally has overlaped and interlocked shapes. There are so many different shapes and lines in Sally's art to make it increadable to look at.
